We created this blog to portray how women are depicted as sexualized objects that exist solely for male's desires. We explored the different ways women are depicted in social media as sexual objects as well as explore media that works against this negative hyper-sexualized stereotype. We hope that by making this blog we can help empower women and their role in society and bring awareness to how the corporate world and advertising campaigns portray women in the media in a negative way.

What men really think about us women
Here lies the problem....
This male perspective regarding the female brain has only worked to perpetuate women being depicted as sexual objects for male's desire, rather than being considered intellectual equals.
This is so pathetic but unfortunately true, men have always generally thought of women as lesser and less intelligent than them. Where did these norms origin, and how do they still persist today- in the wake of all the media that shows how women are completely overly sexualized in the media????
